I’ve been making art to be enjoyed for as long as I can remember. In grade school, I sketched silly teacher caricatures on my notebooks to delight classmates. In fact, #2 pencils and paper are still my preferred tools.
I was born the 6th kid in a 100% Italian family in Boston. Well, technically I’m 25% Sicilian. Food is more than fuel. I have wine fermenting in my basement, cook gravy (red sauce) on Sundays, and occasionally fish for lobster. Lobstering is a blast and a nice contrast to a day job. It even inspired me to start the closetlobsterman blog .
And then there’s pizza. After learning the secrets from a master in Siena, I built a wood-fired brick oven in my kitchen. My instagram tends to have a lot of sauce and cheese on it. And No. My family is NOT in The Mob. Anymore.
Why all the food talk? It mirrors my approach. I craft on behalf of brands for the audience to enjoy and remember. And that results in business success. There’s an old cooking quote, “You put food in your body. So use the best you can find.” Italian cooking is based on sourcing the highest quality ingredients and letting them shine. I try to take the same approach to advertising.
Thanks looking. If you’d like, reach out. I always enjoy meeting new people.
